the stone fossil series is inspired by precious and semi-precious stones such as emerald, obsidian and jade. each stone fossil is a single block made of epoxy resin with a 200-year-old italian oak tree. the resulting work represents a quiet, explosive force embalmed in vivid pigment colouration.
