coriolis series
the coriolis series is a collaborative project by luisa restrepo and pedro cerisola, offering a subjective reinterpretation of scientific representation. it began with cerisola‘s exploration of synergy by buckminster fuller, resulting in cumulus a versatile cuboctahedron module. restrepo‘s involvement introduced digital modifications, adding a fourth dimension and altering the original blueprint‘s direction. the resulting forms were translated into fused, water jet-cut, and sandblasted glass, maintaining depth and overlap.
